    That was the sloppiest and most lackadaisical demo I have ever seen! The thing is though, it shows you a method to colorize photos that is quite easy, and also introduces blending modes in an interesting way. Give the man a vegemite sandwich!

      Hey there Christopher, Yeah you’re right it was pretty sloppy – But all “sloppiness” aside the principles and technique demonstrate a powerful way to colorize black and whites! I made it quite obvious that it wasn’t pixel perfect and can easily be brushed up to as pristine or messy as you like :-) Thanks for the feedback.

    Hello Shane,I never would have colored the image in that ufo yellow. But by going to adjustments layer and tweeking the color to become more skin toned fixed the look of it..What a great idea.Thanks for the tip.

    Hi Shane,
    great technique. Only problem – when I tried to download the practice file (I’m a gold member) I got a message: “You do not have enough privileges to access this file”
    Why??
