Thanks for a new tool for me as it is in Elements too, except that when tucking in, a plain background is required as otherwise, all lines etc also show the tucking! Anyway to prevent that?

Shane, I use and Olympus E510 digital slr. Is there any feature on Photoshop that I can use to identify what f-stop, shutter speed a picture was taken at. I do not have time to write down this information as I take picture. Thanks for any help.

In Windows Explorer, you can right-click on the file, select properties and check the Details tab for the shot information.

In Photoshop I believe you can find it in File>Properties.

I’m sorry, but I can’t remember off-hand how to get the info in Lightroom, and I don’t know how to find it on a Mac.

In ACR ( adobe camera raw ) just below the histogram, Il see the f stop, shutter speed, iso you shot at , and also the lens you used ( if telephoto like 18-200 @95mm).
      This is photoshop CS5 extended..
Believe Adobe light room will show you all info in library…
Quickest program I have to sort through files is Photo Mechanic, shows all info, histogram, etc… can rename files and will put them back into same folder you took from.. 6500 pics like, the fastest I have seen any program. Good top down programming. Photo Mechanic is made by some programmers in Portland, Oregon — it is the fastest program for looking at files, sorting naming etx… compared to aperture, Light room, photo shop, bridge etc..
      good luck

Awesome!! I’ve not used PhotoMechanic but sounds like it’s worth a look. I found Aperture frustratingly slow to get all my images. Infact it took hours :(

Wow that was incredible, now standing in front of the mirror I have finally got it into my head Photoshop does have one or two limitations. Nevder mind nothing a blanket over the mirror won’t fix.
    Brilliant thank you.
