You have great control over the color of both Shadows and Highlights to create some very cool effects.

Kind of like the crossed processed look (we have other videos on Cross Processing!)…

You wont be disappointed…hey if you can do be a big favour and leave a comment at the end of this video I’d REALLY appreciate it!

    Shane,
I’m using Elements7. What version of photoshop has this?
I got an offer to upgrade to cs5 for half the price, is it worth it?
    Thanks!

This was done in CS5 if you have a super offer to upgrade cheap I’d go for it! But, at the end of the day it really depends on what you want it for and if the added features are going to be any benefit for you. ;) Personal choice! It’s a great version though.

That was great as I can do the same with my Elements 8 which comes with the CS4 Bridge! Thank you so much for showing how great even the cheaper software can be!

Shane, is it really true that working in RAW in non-destructive? Pushing up the saturation in non raw can create bad noise.

Kath, it is non-destructive in that it doesn’t affect the original file. It doesn’t mean that you can’t do stupid things to an image clip colors etc. and blow them out! :)
