Loading your Settings in Camera RAW!

  • Now it’s time to SAVE time! One of the great ways you can save alot of time in Photoshop is when you’re applying similar edits and adjustments to a group of images you can save those settings so you can use them again and again and again! Beats the heck out of trying to remember what you did to create that cool effect last week!! :)

The way you do that is to first SAVE your settings then you load them.

Note: this is all done in Camera RAW.

Shane.. great format .. its the small icon details that are the hardest to see so the new Bigger format is helping .. whats the chances of increasing the size even a touch bigger ( Photoshop Icons etc ) would be helpful as when one is watching the videos its those small icons that are horrid to see … keep up the good work …cheers

Larger format is ok, would be happier with more videos that cover a subject from start to finish. Current videos are ok but kind of chopped up.
Am wondering if the cost is worth it. May need to cancel and find another source for PS training.

Larger Video format is great; and, more important and more helpful would be to indicate “next” step on training videos and always quick review at end. All these processes are sequential steps to and end thus use the word “NExt” or something of the sort. Consistency in videos would make shorter videos and consistent, regardless of training level. “Cookie cutter training ” — why are all major chain stores designed the same floor plan — to make you familiar and also not feel lost.
    Settings versus actions ?

Yes of course the larger format is better – well done; another improvement to Photoshop Zoo. One comment though Shane, would you consider slowing down your delivery a tad please. I do appreciate that video time is valuable but pausing and stopping and replay might be less necessary if you were able to slow down a bit.
    Many thanks – Greg

Nice, did I miss where you show how to save the settings?
    I used Lightroom 2 & I think it’s pretty similar to ACR.
I think I can do this in LR too.

    Very cool, Shane.
BTW, once my membership ends at the end of this month, where is the best place for me to turn with an occasional Photoshop question? Every now and then I just need a question answered. Have you ever considered providing a service like that, or is that someplace you just don’t want to go?
    Don’t know if don’t ask.
    =)
    Thx, Ellen
