and the web site review sounds very impressive but where are the image examples?
I would like to see a side by side comparison of the noise difference between say ISO 400 and ISO 102,400. Without that it’s all just a bunch of words.

I agree. Personally, I’m thinking of upgrading my point and shoot to the new Canon G11

I wouldn’t say ‘competition crusher’, more just raises the bar. Canons new pro camera (whatever the 1d series brings) will now have something to overcome! The fight is far from over between canon and nikon.
