Many thanks Shane, I have been wondering how to do this for ages – you have saved me a heap of work on the strange and convoluted work around I had for this. Cheers, Andy

Very interesting Shane but I would like to see clipping Masks used as a photographer might, not a graphic designer and I don’t mean just filling text with a photo. I guess what I’m trying to get at is when clipping masks would be good for photographers to use to enhance an image.

I hope you are having fun in ‘The Kingdom’.

    Awesome! Thanks for that. :)
As a visual learner I have a tough time with some of the tutorials online. This was super clear and super easy. So kudos! Much appreciated.

And the sweet voice on the voice-over certainly didn’t hurt. I could listen to it for hours. LMAO

I’ve learned something new here, but I thought clipping layers was where you outlined an image, or part of an image so that it took the background out and just left the image. ???
Is this something different or does “clipping” have two different meanings in PhotoShop?
