I don’t even own Photoshop yet but joined as a Gold member because your tips are helping me with Corel’s Paintshop Pro. I am getting financing through the military so have to wait on them for Photoshop. Thank you for all the videos and simple terminology.

    Greetings,
My real interest is 3D and I use Corel Photopaint as a base to provide “maps” for the objects I create. But I will use your suggestion to explore the paint program.
If you got my Xmas card plastered with elephants from Norwich in England you’ll see an admixture of Corel-Draw and Paint based on photographs I took.
I haven’t forgotten that I promised you Dave Huss’s tutorial on making “glass” letters.
When I get around to making a web-site for myself you’ll no doubt hear more from me.
Well Shane I hope you make time to take that lovely wife of yours out to dinner.
    Happy New Year.
    Edward

    Hi Shane,
Thanks for your emails, they are great. You are right: one should practice every day, in order to become an expert in PS. I try, and the more I’m doing so, I see better results.
However, for now I have PS Elements 5 “only”; it is great, can make wonders with my photos, but for now I’m only at the beginning of the learning curve.
Have you any help for Elements 5 users, too? (I didn’t see any on the ‘products’ page.)

    Hi Shane,
Just a note to say hi, first time doing a blog.
My name is Lyle Saunders from Bimini Bahamas.
Got your Mastering Photoshop CS Made Easy i think 2006
can’t remember now.Seen some other photoshop tutorials
but YOU are by FAR THE BEST PHOTOSHOP GUY OUT THERE.
I tried to order the Cosmetic DVD but had a problem
since I don’t have Paypal. You need to make it easier
    with a credit card.
Keep those great emails and tutorials coming I always
    look forward to them.
    Thanks alot.

Shane, I have your Photoshop Elements training disc. It has been very helpful. I am only interested in using photoshop elements for photography. Have you considered more help for those of us who don’t need, or want to go on to Photoshop for more complex artistic needs?

    Thanks!

Great Tip ideas Shane but like previous commenters have said, I have all your videos and tutorials and I find most of the info on the site repeat information. Also when you redid your site for some reason I cannot get in the site and I am a member. I get all your messages but I cannot log in as a member. Keep up the great work though as I also check these messages. Loyal fan…Debbie

Hi Shane, Used to enjoy your tips & tricks…etc but as they became more oriented toward PS CS3 and CS4 I faded away because you were using tools I didn’t have. Being on a fixed income I opted for PS Elements 6. I could afford your Gold Membership but am afraid it would again allude to some tools or options I do not possess. Thanx for the help you have already rendered though…faithfully…Al

This is my first time commenting, I have been an admirer of the PSZ since it opened, congratulations on a great site. It would benefit me if there was posted a “Photo of the Day” with shots selected from contribuions of members along with data on camera, lens, fstop, shutter, light etc. We could then emulate the photographer by trying it out on our own along with tips that are offered by you. you. By the way, congratulations on a great site. Ray

Thanks for the ‘one tool tip’ – it makes very good sense when you think about it.
I have bought a few things from you but to be frank and candid, as an old timer with plenty of time but lowered comprehension, I find your communications too lengthy and I get confused and switch off. The tutorials are not like this though just the emails and blogs.
I have had PS since v.3 in 1986 but I only use it occasionally (I have many other interests like trying to learn premiere elements, golf, women, beer, golf, travel, golf and I sometimes go to the driving range). Seriously I do believe in your methods but you need to realise that whilst many are PS fanatics – some of us just want to learn the basics at our pace. You missed your vocation you should have been a marketing man – I have no doubts that PSzoo will be highly successful.
Cheers for now – Greg Ralph

Most excellent Shane! Hello to Mike.
Great website! I highly recommend your tutorials to everyone I know.I just moved to the mountains, so I am a bit short of capital cash. Worse I am on the dreaded wireless. Soon as I get settled down. I am going Gold membership all the way.
Thanks for all the help. Your advice as put me miles ahead of other programs and books I have tried!
Hope you and your family are well.

Thanks Maggie, and hello to you too! Glad you like the tutorials. And wow! You just moved to the mountains. That’s exciting. I, myself, live near mountains and love exploring when I get a day off. Look forward to having you on-board as a Gold Member. Plenty of exciting things coming. All the best.
